Food is okay, but salads need some help. Colorful exotic foliage and large potted palm trees add to Cuba Libre's open-air, tropical ambiance.
I really thought it was going to be packed, but was pleasantly surprised to find that not be the case. Dark auburn in hue. Had an amazing time. Châteauvallon 795 Chemin de Châteauvallon CS 10118 – 83 192 Ollioules Great atmosphere. Overall great experience and wonderful food!

I made a reservation at Cuba Libre around 8pm on NYE before their Prix Fixe menu started. Rum flights were great. Black tea, honey, dark molasses on the nose. Margarita was too sweet. I highly recommend it.
The vaca frita is not how it is made regularly. Blue crabmeat, avocado, grilled golden pineapple, roasted jalapeos, fresh lime juice, extra virgin olive oil, plantain chips, Saffron long grain rice, boneless chicken, green peas, Manzanilla olives, hard-boiled egg, asparagus, Palacios chorizo, roasted piquillo pepper salad, Rich and slow-simmered flavors, red onions, sour cream, Plantain and malanga chips, black bean hummus, roasted cauliflower hummus with curried onions, Cuba Libre salsa, Poached lobster tail, shrimp, squid, fresh coconut water, chiles, citrus, Thai basil, cucumber salsa, coconut chips, Cream of roasted chicken filled croquettes. Featuring a selection of over 70 rums, Cuba Libre's uniquely refreshing house specialty, the mojito, is made from the authentic Cuban recipe of combining rum, fresh lime juice, fresh mint leaves, a splash of soda and most distinctively, guarapo, sugar cane juice pressed daily on site. Highly recommend. Entrees came back uneven with some dishes having more vegetables and some having none. The room was quite chilly for a winter's night. My daughter and I have eaten at Cuba Libre located in Atlantic City, over five years ago and decided to visited the DC location for Brunch. Excellent in all respects. Nice ambiance.

I got the Chef’s tasting menu. A little pricey, but expected because of it’s in the City Center area.
